A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas book cover

When 19-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it ... or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

I’m pretty sure this will be on quite a few wishlists! Sarah J. Maas writing a Beauty and the Beast retelling?? What’s not to love about that!? Anything Maas writes will be on my auto-buy list, no questions asked. I CANNOT wait to read A Court of Thorns and Roses, and in honesty, May can’t come quick enough :D

What are you waiting on this week? If you like, leave a link to your WoW so I can stop by!

    1. I loved Throne of Glass, and I'm about a third of the way through Crown of Midnight right now, and I absolutely love her writing style! Definitely give her books a chance, I definitely think they deserve the hype :D I love the sound of A Court of Thorns and Roses, so hopefully it'll be just as amazing as her first series!

  3. It looks good but are we sure it's not a Tamlin retelling? ? because that would be awesome I just love the Irish tale of Tamlin. I wish more people would do those stories especially because I loved Katherine Harbour's retelling. either way can't wait

    1. I think Sarah J. Maas has said it's a Beauty and the Beast retelling, with a little hint of Tam Lin thrown in :) Either way, it's sounds amazing! I have such high hopes for this. I loved Throne of Glass, and her writing style appeals to me so much :)

(PS. I though Tam Lin was a Scottish tale, no?)

  11. Ha, I don't even care what it's about, it's Sarah J. Maas. I'll read it. Which is saying something, since it's supposed to be more NA than YA, right? I don't usually read NA, but I'm so in on this one. ;)
