Ten Authors I'd Love to Meet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme run by The Broke and the Bookish.

Unfortunately I haven’t met any authors yet, so I can’t really narrow this list down! Choosing only ten is really hard to do, and I’d love to be able to say ‘ALL the authors’… but that would probably be classed as cheating wouldn’t it? I’d love to meet ANY author, in honesty, but the ones I’ve included in my list are some of my favourite authors, and it would be awesome to meet them in person.

This list isn't in any particular order.

Have you met any of the authors on my list? And! Which authors would you like to meet? If you have a TTT post, leave a link so I can visit, and if not, tell us in the comments! Thanks for stopping by, and happy reading!

  1. J.K. Rowling and Marissa Meyer made my list as well. So many amazing authors! How could I forget Sarah J. Maas. Great list!

  4. JK Rowling, Sarah J Maas & Suzanne Collins were all on my list. I can't go to any of Sarah J Maas' events for ACOTAR but I'm hoping she'll come back to the UK to promote Queen of Shadows and that I'll be able to go to one of her events then.

    1. I'd love to meet Sarah J. Maas! It would be awesome if she came back to Europe to promote QoS :D I find it really hard when most of my favourite authors are from the States - they don't come to Ireland very often, so no chances of meeting them :( Maybe one day!! Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Sarah J. Maas was very close to making my list. Though I might be overcome with too many emotions to get an actual word out. Nice list this week!

    1. Thanks Alicia! I know exactly what you mean! I'd be so scared of making a complete fool of myself, and start babbling a load of nonsense. Hopefully if/when the day comes, the confidence-gods would be kind! Thanks for stopping by! =)

    1. YAY!! I'm so glad you loved ACoTaR! The wait until next year to find out how the story develops will be terrible, though (but worth it ;)) Thanks for stopping by, Emma!

    1. I might just be a teeny tiny bit envious, Val! When you do meet them, if you could casually hint that they should visit Ireland soon... I'd be eternally grateful, LOL!! Have a fab time at BEA :D

  9. Marissa Meyer and JK are on my list too :) I have met a lot of self-published and indie authors from Michigan, which is really cool, but I've never met any of the bigger names. My little corner of West Michigan isn't exactly the most traveled.

    1. That's awesome that you've met some Indie authors! Most of the authors I'd like to meet are from the States, so visits to Ireland are pretty rare. Hopefully we'll get to meet them one day! Thanks for stopping by, Rebekah!

  10. Marissa Meyer have to keep up writing awesome books even after The Lunar Chronicles. Also, JLA is one of the best YA authors in my opinion. And Suzanne Collins should write more books, I miss her writing a lot.
    Amazing list!

    1. YES!! Oh I completely agree! I'd love if Suzanne Collins wrote more books!

I LOVE the Lunar Chronicles, and I can't wait to read Winter, but... the one I can't WAIT to read is Heartless when it's released in 2016! (I hope it's not pushed back, though) It's based on Alice in Wonderland, and I NEED! :D Thanks for stopping by, Veronika!
