Top 10 Books I'm Looking Forward to in 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme run by The Broke and the Bookish.

Is it just me, or does 2015 seem like it’s shaping up to be an awesome bookish year?? Off the top of my head, I can think of 5 fairy-tale retellings alone that are on the way next year that I can’t wait to get my hands on! Trying to cut down my list of need-to-reads to ten is so hard!

It goes without saying that I can’t wait to read Throne of Glass #4, Fairest, Winter, and End of Days but I’ve decided to go with books that actually have covers revealed as of writing this post.

These are in no particular order, and the links below the book covers are to Goodreads.

Ensnared by A.G. Howard // Hold Me Like a Breath by Tiffany Schmidt
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly by Stephanie Oakes // Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge

The only thing I have to say about Ensnared is that I. NEED. IT. NOW! I need so much more Morpheus in my life! Sarah J. Maas is on my auto-buy list – if she writes it, I’ll read it! The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly is a debut novel that I’m so excited for. Once I read the words “handless” and “cult”, I was sold! I haven’t read anything by Tiffany Schmidt or Rosamund Hodge (even though I really want to read Cruel Beauty), but I have such high hopes for both books, they sound amazing.

The Witch Hunter by Virginia Boecker // Shutter by Courtney Alameda
The Cage by Megan Shepherd // The Stars Never Rise by Rachel Vincent
Rook by Sharon Cameron

A couple of these are debuts, but 4 of these are by new-to-me authors. I've started the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent, and I really need to continue on with it at some stage. The cover for Shutter is so creepy, and I love ghost stories, so this book and I should be a perfect match. The Witch Hunter sounds like such a good fantasy read, and The Cage had me sold the minute I saw it was about human zoos and aliens! And just look at the covers for both The Stars Never Rise and Rook... The blurbs sounds just as brilliant, but one look at the covers and I knew I had to read them!

What books are you looking forward to in 2015? Did any of these books make your list?

If you like, leave a link to your TTT if you have one, thanks for reading!

    1. Ooh Tracy! Best of luck with finals! They're definitely what you need to focus on for the short term!

I can't wait for Ensnared, but at the same time I'm kind of terrified to read it! I really hope we get the ending we want ;-) (I'm not very hopeful, I have a bad feeling... :( ) The Cage sounds so awesome! I mean, HUMAN ZOO's?? Definitely need to read!

  9. I agree with these all but WOW that Shutter cover is CREEPY. I don't know if I would want to read it because nightmares, maybe I can get the kindle version or something.

I'm looking forward to Ensnared EVEN THOUGH I haven't read Unhinged yet! I will soon though.

    1. Ooh, you need to read Unhinged! Sooo good! I really don't think you'll regret it :D

The Shutter cover really is terrifying! A Kindle version would be a good idea, but I'd kinda like to have the physical version - it'd be very hand to have in the house to scare anyone with, whenever necessary ;-)
