Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme run by The Broke and the Bookish.
I had a quick look back to my Winter 2015 TBR list, and I did pretty good: I read six out of the ten books I listed, and I’m so happy about this! Usually I fail so badly, and this is a nice improvement :D I hope I have the same fortune this Spring, but I do have quite a few eARC’s I need to get through… For my list, I’ve chosen ten books I bought that I hope to read over the next couple of months. If I can complete half the list, I’ll be happy!
All links below the images are to each books Goodreads page.
All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
The Scorch Trials by James Dashner
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke
The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson
The Ring and the Crown by Melissa de la Cruz
Have you read any of these? Which ones should I try and read first?!
And... Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I liked All Our Yesterdays-it was a bit different from the usual YA dystopia that I read. I've read Vampire Academy which was a decent read but never got past book two. I'll probably look at the film though. Good luck with your spring reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chuckles! I can't wait to read All Our Yesterday's! I haven't read a really good dystopian in a while, and I've heard lots of good things about this one :D
DeleteGreat list! Cress is amazing. I just read The Winner's Curse and really liked it. I now need to read The Winner's Crime. Hope you enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteCassi @ My Thoughts Literally
YAY! I'm so glad you liked both Cress and The Winner's Curse! I bought both books not too long ago, and I can't wait to get stuck in and read them! Thanks for stopping by, Cassi!
DeleteCRESSSSSS
ReplyDeleteHahah I also read All Our Yesterdays which I thought was pretty good, and also I loved The Kiss of Deception. JUST READ THEM ALL. I myself still need to read The Winner's Curse. And yay for the pretty photos! You have all of your books so there really is no excuse not to read them all ;)
Thanks, Val! I NEED to read Cress! I'm a little worried with all the praise raising my expectations... but I really hope I love it :D I have SO MANY books sitting around on my bookcases I need to read! It's the choosing what to read next that I really struggle with!
DeleteI got a hardback copy of The 5th Wave super cheap, like less than a pound, and I'm looking forward to reading that one. There's a couple of others on your list that I've been looking forward to but don't own yet, so I'll get through the TBR first! :D R x

Oohh wow, a hardback for under a £1?! Nice!! I hope we both love 5th Wave :D
DeleteI really need to read Cress and The 5th Wave too! I hope you enjoy all of these books, and I read The Maze Runner series last year and they're such great books :D Enjoy and hope you're having a great day :-)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT if you would like to check it out :-) My TTT
Ooh, glad you liked the Maze Runner series! I read the first book last year and enjoyed it, and I need to continue on as soon as I can :D Thanks for stopping by, Emma! Hope you love Cress and the 5th Wave!
DeleteOOOoh nice!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED Kiss of Deception! Cress was also amazing!! And Vampire Academy was a pleasant delight! This series brought me back to YA so many years ago!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Lizzie! I can't wait to read VA, Cress and The Winner's Curse. I've read lots of praise for them, so I have pretty high expectations =) Hopefully I'll love them!
DeleteI've only read Vampire Academy and Cress out of these. The others may be making my TBR longer...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Amanda
Thanks for stopping by, Amanda! TBR's are so hard to tackle :D
DeleteCress was so good! I am going to start re-reading the series before Winter comes out!
ReplyDeleteMissie @ A Flurry of Ponderings
I can't wait to read Cress! I'm trying to keep my expectations down... but it's hard! Thanks for stopping by, Missie :)
DeleteMost of these are on my list too! Cress was really awesome! And I definitely need to get to Amy Plum's books. They're very close to being read... :P I hope you enjoy all of the books you get to!
ReplyDeleteHere are my Top Ten!
Oooh, hope you love the Revenant series! The first book was a bit... meh... for me, but the second one was really good :D Thanks for stopping by, Tracy!
DeleteI also have The 5th Wave on my list.. and Scarlet for me for the Lunar Chronicles Series. I'm also haoping to read the Kiss of Deception && The Ring & The Crown although I still need to get my own copy. Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteczai @ the Blacksheep Project
I loved Scarlet! I really hope you love it, too :D Thanks for stopping by, Czai!
DeleteAHHH SO MUCH AWESOME. I wasn't a huge fan of The Winner's Curse, but it is beautiful AND THE SEQUEL IS MINDBLOWINGLY GOOD. LIKE SERIOUSLY. YOU NEED THE SEQUEL ASAP AFTER BOOK 1. And the cliffhanger is wicked, hehe, so torture will ensue. *nods* We bookworms love that. *ahem* OH I loved Cress and The Scorch Trials! One day I'll read VA too. oh gosh, I feel terrible for being such a vigorous bookworm and yet not having read anything by Richelle Mead! FAIL. ha. I'll fix it eventually.
ReplyDeleteI really hope I like The Winner's Curse! I've see so much love for the sequel, and I'm so curious to see how awesome it is :D And I feel the same about Vampire Academy!! I have no idea why it's taken me so long to get to... and LOL, it feels like I've broken some sort of bookish rule that I haven't read Richelle Mead! One day I'll change this :D Thanks for stopping by, Cait!
DeleteOMG You should read Vampire Academy ASAP! It's my most favorite paranormal romance, happy reading :) Benish | Feminist Reflections
ReplyDeleteThanks, Benish! I can't wait to read VA! I can't believe it's taken me so long to read it :)
DeleteI aboslutely loved The Kiss of Deception and quite enjoyed The Winner's Curse and Vampire Academy! Have you seen the movie? It was a bit ridiculous but still fun :) I really want to read The 5th Wave. EVERYONE seems to love that one. Great list!
ReplyDeleteYes, I've seen so much love for The 5th Wave! I can't wait to try it, but I'm trying not to let my expectations get too out of hand ;) And YAY for The Kiss of Deception! It's been tempting me every time I look at my bookcase... I think I'll have to give in and read it ASAP! Thanks for stopping by, Lola!
