Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court--but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms--and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future--and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Any time I see this book mentioned, all I can think is I need, need, need, need, need, NEED! A Court of Thorns and Roses was one of my favourite books of 2015, and my expectations for the sequel are VERY high. I’m a little worried about what direction the story will take, though. Rhys is alright and all that jazz… but Feylin is my ship, and I will not change my ship!

Also, what’s the overall feeling about the cover? I’ve seen a few mixed reactions, and I know when I saw it the first time I thought “that’s it??” It has grown on me a lot since the cover reveal, and I love the blue, but I think I was expecting something a bit… more, ya know? I do prefer the US cover... the UK one is surprisingly plain :( *shrugs* Oh well, I still can't wait to read it!

  1. OMG I still need to read ACOTAR but I will definitely be reading it soon! I like the US cover better even though they're pretty similar. Awesome pick this week!

I will go down with that ship :) And I definitely like the first cover better. It isn't that this one is bad, I just think the cover for ACOTAR is more interesting. great pick :)

  4. I definitely cannot wait to read this one either! I too was surprised by how similar these covers were, and yet, how plain they made the UK one in the end. But like you said, oh well. You could always order the US one after you've read the UK cover! I may fall victim to doing this with US books. ;)

    1. I just might! It's so tempting to get multiple copies of books, and I have to keep talking myself out of it. Eeek!
