I read this ...I'm glad you enjoyed it at least! I read this less than a year ago, but it never really occurred to me how vain (is this the word?) Alina was. I guess it was because she was obsessed with finding Mal and making him love her??? And yes The Darkling did fascinate me too hahahaha.
